Client Profile: The Client is a medium-sized independent Surveyor firm based in London and was rated as one of the ten most profitable firms in a recent survey. The firm has embraced technology and has implemented Digital Dictation and workflow systems throughout the firm. The firm's business includes private and commercial property valuation and property management.
After a week's trial in October 2004, the Client started using the service and today a majority of the Client's typing work is being handled by the Company. The Chief Executive has personally taken responsibility for the transition and during the initial stages provided the company with constant and relevant feedback enabling the company to perfect the service. He had also requested the Company for feedback on the quality of the dictation and the net result has been extremely satisfactory for both the parties.
The Client has now completely restructured the organisation internally and eliminated all temporary typing staff. The existing secretaries have now started to do more value added work internally.
