India has a large pool of qualified accountants and the accounting profession there has evolved in line with International Accounting Standards. The use by most firms of Standardised Accounting Software packages has contributed significantly to the ease of outsourcing this service.

Escribe's accountants have visited the UK and trained with clients and they are today familiar with the clients' functional requirements. They are also familiar with accounting packages such as Sage, IRIS, Vistopia, QuickBooks etc.

In April 2005, we entered into a joint venture with Duncan Boxwell & Co Limited, a firm of Chartered Accountants in the UK. The venture called Accounting Partners Limited will be based in Liverpool and will be responsible for sales, marketing and customer service besides continuously providing functional inputs and training to the delivery team in India.
